Me and Simon Indelicate have made a book. It contains some of his poems, some of mine, and lots of lyrics, (some as yet unheard) with footnotes explaining a few things.
Most of my poems are my attempts at Imagist poems. If you don't know them, have a look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagists
H.D. is probably my favourite poet, still, after all these years.
If you want explanations of things when you order the book, then Tweet me :) Or ask here :)
I can promise there is swearing in at least one poem.
The book is shaped like a 7" record, which looks very neat, and the cover references 1984. It's lovely. It will help us in the next few months building up to the various projects TBA, as the money goes direct to us. Ze 'Artists' ;) It will also mean that I don't have to work so much, as it's sort of destroying me a bit, day by day, and i'm getting really tearful and tired.
So, enough begging, buy it, don't buy it, buy it:
You can PRE-ORDER 'Words by Simon and Julia Indelicate' direct from our shop:

Or don't, or do!
Or don't.
(please buy my book it's lovely)

Hi Julia, I see you've got a plug in the Observer from the disgraced liar and warmonger Nick Cohen.
Your mutual appreciation society is gathering strength.
Anyone who can write,
'I find myself a loner and I find myself bereft
I find myself agreeing with Bill O'Reilly more than the left.'
is no feminist.
I'm tempted to take you to pieces Anonymous but I have better things to do than get bogged down with somebody who clearly takes every lyric they hear and read at face value.
Besides, anyone who has the talent to write songs at all deserves more respect than someone who fires pot shots from behind the mask of anonymity.
Anonymous is a twat!
Not the most intellectual response, but the best I could come up with at short notice, and more than he deserves. Besides, he didn't leave us much to fight on, explain your reasoning twat, if you have any...
I'd say you pretty much hit the nail on the head there Tristan.
I remember reading Malory Towers books when I was about 6 years old and learning that writing anonymous hate mail is the most poisonous, cowardly form of attack.
So if you're going to write something quite so ridiculous Anonymous, at least have the guts to put your name to it, even if it's just some sort of internet pseudonym.
Twat.
Anyone who can't read between the lines and obviously is nothing but full of envy
has issues big enough not to need a name.
poor thing.
Honestly, I don't really buy the issues regarding anonymity here. I could be writing this comment as 'Frank' or 'Bill' or 'Jill', and while that might seem more honest than 'anonymous', here it's simply a moniker, telling nothing about who I am, and thus not. An internet pseudonym is in fact no less anonymous than 'anonymous'. It's merely a coincidence that in this particular instance Julia will recognize my initials and know who I am.
Other than that though, and in regards to the initial comment: what the others have said.
PC (waves ;) ) It matters because on the blog where they're all calling me an idiot and terrible lyricist and so on, where I imagine anonymous comes from, they seem to know all about me, my dad, and so on. So in order to argue at all It would surely be courteous for me to have the same.
Mmm... I certainly agree that in instances where one is slagging someone off, be it coherently or as here just plain fucking rude, divulging one's identity, or at least leaving a return address or something, is the done thing. All I'm saying, is that if anonymous had commented as Agnes or Mike, and not hyperlinked the name to a personal web page or an email, chances are you'd be non the wiser as to who you were dealing with.
That's my take on it anyway, and really a bit off topic. Whoever this entity is, s/he is (on the basis of his/her comment) a sad troll who's totally missed the point of The Indelicates and their lyrics.
(Waves back:-))
